Congratulations to Texas Craft Brewers

Posted by Noelle Brown on Oct 12, 2016 1:51:56 PM

Despite not having the same visibility as their CA or CO brothers, Texas brewers are quickly achieving notoriety in their own right (high five, Austin!). Texas brewers have honed their skills over the last decade, infusing their Texan-individualism as well as the rugged determination of our land into their beers.

Texas LandscapeAs Shiner defined long before craft beer wastrendy, Texas adds a little more grit to its beer than other states and regions. Whether it's our historic beef industry, rich oil reserves, unique local wine, or just our insane love for barbecue (think Franklin BBQ in Austin), Texas makes everything a little stronger and robust than most - and now this grit is being rewarded.

Congratulations to all the Texas craft beers and their craft breweries who won at the Great American Beer Festival this year. Texas craft brewers, you make your state proud.
